Cannon Park shoppers help local charity

26.5.2010 - Cannon Park Shopping Centre has recently handed over a heque following a series of fundraising activities over the past year. A cheque for £601.60 was presented to Tiny Tims Children’s Centre, a charity that supports the parents and carers of children or young eople with disabilities by providing therapies, including physiotherapy.

“Cannon Park has carried out a wide variety of fundraising activities on behalf of the charity” Keith Allsopp said. “Activities have included carol singing by local schools, Christmas grotto and wishing well donations, as well as a regular contribution from
promotional companies using spaces in the centre. We’re pleased to be able to hand over our donations to this very worthy cause.”

Sarah Hemings said: “We would like to thank all the retailers and shoppers at Cannon Park for supporting Tiny Tim’s and for their fundraising efforts, for which we are very grateful.”
